  • New Educational Center Open

Winnie Marshall is back. Marshall and Associate building has changed to Life’s Vitality thru Hydration. Rather then working in the Real Estate business, her and her partner Gail Rainwater are opening an Educational and Training center for people who are interested in preventative health. Why wait till the horse is out of the barn before closing the door.

A year and a half ago the two came across a remarkable water machine out of Japan that hydrates the body at the cellular level, causes it to remove all the toxins we have built up in our systems through pollutions, bad diet, bad water, stress, worry and aging. They learned that obesity is our body’s way of trying to protect our organs. Whys that? Just like our normal temperature is 98.6, our normal pH is 7.365. Unfortunately most of us are to acidic. Fat is our body’s way of storing the acid away from our organs which has to be 7.365pH. Until now we couldn’t do much to stay properly balanced other then eating nothing but greens. Enagic has introduced fresh Alkaline-Ionized Water by attaching the machine to your sink. The device creates an electrolysis process, which splits the H 20 molecules in half, creating negative ions, a healthy drinking water filled with anti-oxidants. In Japan our generator is classified as a Medical Device that doctors prescribe to their patients. The commercial generator is in over 100 Hospitals in Japan. The United Nations Longevity Reports places Japan at #1 in the world. The US is #38. Do you think this generator has something to do with that considering there is 1 in every 5 homes in Japan?

After drinking this water for a short period of time, Gail experienced a remarkable improvement in her joints. She was able to stop walking with a cane. Winnie and Gail have been educating themselves about this water and now want to share it with you. Their first day was Nov. 14th which turned out to be a wonderful day. Free classes are Fri. from 10-11am, Thurs, Fri. 2-3 pm Tues, Thurs and Sat. 6-7 pm. All are welcome. Call now to reserve your seat. Phone # 916 992-0623

  • U.S. Army husband-wife recruiting couple promoted same day
    Posted on: 2011-04-29
By Cathy Pauley, Sacramento Recruiting Battalion Public Affairs Office

SACRAMENTO – Sgt. 1st Class Raymond Jones and Staff Sgt. Angelica Jones share the same workplace as Noncommissioned Officers in the Army’s Capitol Recruiting Company. As a married couple, they share a home and family. Now they share yet another, if not unique distinction: the husband-wife duo were both recently promoted on the same day.
Capt. Jamie Grymes, Capitol Company commander, had the honor of promoting the couple to their respective ranks on April 1 in front of a formation of their peers from the company’s seven Army Career Centers. “It is an honor to have the opportunity to have an outstanding husband and wife team under my command,” Grymes said. “And furthermore it is extraordinary to have them both promoted on the same day.”
Grymes read the orders promoting Angelica Jones to staff sergeant as Raymond Jones replaced her sergeant’s rank with the staff sergeant insignia. Following her promotion, Grymes then read Raymond Jones’ orders and Angelica Jones ripped the old rank off her husband’s Army Combat Uniform and applied the sergeant 1st class rank.
Raymond Jones, 26, enlisted in June 2002 as a Chemical Operations Specialist. When he decided to enlist in the Army, he just walked into the Army Career Center and told them he “just wanted to join.” He was selected for recruiting duty and assigned to the Florin Army Career Center in July 2010.
Angelica Jones, 25, originally dreamed about joining the California Highway Patrol. However, she changed her plans in 2004 and decided to enlist in the Army for three years, liked it and decided to stay. She didn’t meet the height requirements to be in the Military Police so she chose to be a Chemical Operations Specialist. Angelica was selected for recruiting duty so she could join her husband in March 2011. She is assigned to the Arden Army Career Center.
The two met at the chemical operations noncommissioned officer school in 2010 and were married in July.
Both Joneses had family members on hand for the promotion, including Raymond’s parents – Joe and Susie Garcia and his grandparents Randy and Noreen Muńoz all from southern California – and Angelica’s parents Alex and Ada Flores from Rio Linda. The grandparents attending was a surprise, said Susie Garcia. “The look on Raymond’s face was awesome when he saw his papa and grandma.”
The couple each brings a daughter into the family – Isabel, 5, and Alyssa, 8.
Although not a statistic formally tracked, the husband-wife Noncommissioned Officer team being promoted on the same day is a rare event for both the U.S. Army Recruiting Command and the U.S. Army.
